Looking for a global perspective on transportation? You won’t want to miss Stan Pech, Manager of Import/Customs, Michelin North America – Logistics. Stan has global experience in any aspect of international trade, including customs and trade compliance in North America. He has developed and implemented programs in the areas of duty drawbacks and NAFTA in Mexico, United States and Canada, certified Michelin organizations in the US and Canada under the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) and Partners in Protection (PIP), and implemented Foreign Trade Zones at five Michelin distribution centers across the US with a centralized administration in Greenville, SC.
Prior to working with Michelin, Stan worked with Plus Method Corp. and with Motokov, and Motokov Canada Inc. Stan received his degree in international trade at the Prague School of Economics in Czechoslovakia, and an MBA from McGill University, in Montreal.
