Ralph Tedesco
President and Chief Executive Officer, Nova Scotia Power Inc.

President of NSPI, Ralph Tedesco brings a broad view to the Energy Session from an Atlantica perspective having lived - and worked - primarily in the United States until his move to Nova Scotia. He has extensive knowledge and experience in finance and capital markets, utility construction and operations, marketing and sales, customer service and union relations.
Mr. Tedesco previously held the position of President and Chief Operating Officer of New York State Electric & Gas. He has participated on numerous Boards of Directors, including: New York State Electric & Gas, chairman of Northeast Gas Associations, the metropolitan Development Association of Syracuse and Central New York, the Alliance for Manufacturing and Technology, and is a former member for the University of Michigan's Business School-Industry Advisory Committee.
Mr. Tedesco received a BSc degree in atmosphere science, cum laude, in 1975, and a Master of Science degree in atmospheric physics in 1977, both from the State University of New York at Albany.
