Jonathan Daniels
President & CEO, Eastern Maine Development Corporation

As incoming Chair of the Atlantic Provinces Chambers of Commerce, Jonathan brings a great depth of economic and international trade development to the post. Since 2003, he has served as the President & CEO of Eastern Maine Development Corporation, a six-county economic development district responsible for the oversight of all economic, business, and community development functions.
Prior to this role, Jonathan served as the Director of Business and Economic Development for the City of Bangor, ME where he was responsible for overseeing Bangor International Airport, the Bass Park Complex and community development activities. He also served as managing director of the Greater Baton Rouge Port Commission and the Port of Greater Baton Rouge in Louisiana. He has been the port director, Port of Eastport, ME and Senior Trade Advisor for the Maine International Trade Center.
Jonathan has a degree in International Politics and Military Affairs from The Citadel in Charleston, SC and has completed graduate work toward a degree in Maritime Management from Maine Maritime Academy. He has also completed the International Program for Port Planning and Management from Louisiana State University.
