Gilbert Bennett
Vice President, Lower Churchill Development

Gilbert Bennett

Gilbert J. Bennett, P. Eng. is Vice-President, Lower Churchill Development with Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro. He is responsible for the development of the Lower Churchill hydroelectric resource.

Gilbert is a former Vice-President of 360networks Canada, and has served in a number of senior engineering and operations roles with GT Group Telecom Services, Cable Atlantic and Newfoundland Telephone/Bell Aliant.

Gilbert is a member of the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and is a recipient of numerous academic awards for engineering excellence.
