Dr Stephen Blank
Director of the North American Center for Transborder Studies, Arizona State University, and Adjunct Research Scholar, Center for Energy, Marine Transportation and Public Policy at Columbia University.

It would be a significant understatement to say Dr. Stephen Blank knows a thing or two about countries and firms working together. His research, writing and consulting have revolved around two key themes the relationship between government and business (macro and micro) and North American economic integration.
His career spans some 40 years of business and education throughout North America, Europe and Japan. He holds a BA from Dartmouth College, a MA from Cambridge University, and MA and PhD from Harvard. He taught at many universities in the US and Canada, and in Europe and Japan; hes won major awards; and he has run a business.
Stephen has authored or co-authored 11 books and countless articles. His background on US-Canada relations is substantial: he headed Canadian Affairs at the Americas Society-Council of the Americas, served as a Claude Bissell Visiting Professor of US-Canada Relations at the University of Toronto and as a Senior Fulbright Professor at the University of Montreal, and was the Managing Director of a Partnership of North American business schools. He is the Founding Director of new North American program at Arizona State University.
