David Hay
President & CEO, New Brunswick Power Corporation

Lawyer, professor, financier and entrepreneur are just a few of the professions David Hay brought to his latest post in March 2004 as President and CEO of NB Power, Atlantic Canada's largest electric utility. Prior to this, Mr. Hay was formerly the Managing Director of Delgatie Incorporated, a financial services and strategic advisory firm he established in 1996. In addition, in 1998, Mr. Hay was appointed as co-Chair of the New Brunswick Special Task Force that produced the report 'Electricity in New Brunswick and Options for its Future'.

From 1984 until 1995, Mr. Hay held various senior positions with Merrill Lynch in both London, England and in Canada.

Mr. Hay received a BA degree from the University of Toronto and an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1979.
